Hybrid cars are taken as more economical as they are powered on electric motor as well. You can drive them either way. Unlike other electric cars, the battery in a hybrid car does not need to be recharged separately. Hybrid car batteries recharge while driving due to the acceleration of the wheel hence there is no need to plug in these cars. Alternative fuels like hydrogen fuel cells are also used in hybrid car to make it more eco-friendly. The emission which comes out from hydrogen fuel cells is water, so it hardly poses any threat of global warming or pollution.
The other good news is that apart from controlling the air pollution, hybrid car is excellent in reducing the noise pollution too. The electric motor system in these cars hardly makes any noise when they are running on road. However some people are of view that it might be a great danger for blinds.

Hybrid cars are said to be the initiative from the car manufacturer to fight global warming. More and more car manufacturers are jumping in to the race to produce the environmentally friendly hybrids. Currently auto giants like Toyota, Honda, Lexus, and Ford all produce their own version of hybrid cars.
